Annually, Avid Physical Therapy and Team Movement for Life provides internships, job shadow opportunities, mentoring, lectures and advisory board
participation to the high school medical and health academies of the Coachella Valley and the Inland Empire.
We also work closely with other medical professionals to provide services and education to the local school district athletic trainers, coach's and administration for concussion protocols and treatment of student athletes.
Our community involvement with local business groups provides scholarships and mentoring for
graduating high school and community college students going into medical and health majors. These students represent our medical and health professionals of the future for our community.
Our Pink October and March Madness fund raising campaigns provide contributions to the Desert Cancer Foundation.
We also support the Narrow Door Food Bank which provides food and family services and support to the residents of the East Coachella Valley.
"My surgeon referred me to Avid Physical Therapy after my ACL reconstruction. From the very first phone call that I made to set up an appointment, I felt comfortable. Dr. Luke Gentry and his entire staff have a very positive energy that helped to keep me motivated. I would recommend anyone of any age with any problem to call today to get the same quality treatment that I did."
